Each year, the popularity of the meeting grows from strength to strength and 2009 promises to be even bigger and better, with top-class racing, new facilities, and not forgetting the atmosphere and colour of one of the UK’s great social and sporting events.
 
Each day of the meeting has something different and unique to offer, creating three days like no other sporting festival. The opening day of the meeting offers quality racing at a relaxed pace, with over 25,000 race goers expected as the anticipation begins to heighten. Ladies’ Day (Friday) now attracts some 55,000-race goers and is an un-missable social occasion, never failing to create a buzz throughout the whole North West region. And finally, the crescendo of John Smith’s Grand National Day arrives and with it over 70,000 race goers, eager to sample the sheer magic of a race watched by some 600 million worldwide.
 
The Corbiere Suite 

The Corbiere Suite, located on the third floor of the Lord Sefton Stand, proved a great success with our existing and new clients when it opened for the 2007 Grand National Festival. Once again this superb suite offers an outstanding view of the whole racecourse from the luxury of our private balcony, allowing your clients to enjoy their hospitality whilst watching the horses as they fight for first past the winning post.
